This song is about so many things. It's about the harmonies of The Eagles and a tribute album released in 1993 called Common Thread. It's about the Nashville ice storm of 1994. It's about the fact that in the 90's a bunch of singer/songwriters with extremely diverse philosophical, cultural, and religious ideas piled into Nashville and had great time together, and "sang harmony" together so to speak. And last but not least, it's about a major musical influence of mine, Ms. Jessi Colter.
